Entertaining with a Galvanized tray: Tea & Muffins

Entertaining Tea

Looking for an easy way to entertain with just a tray and simple snacks? This article is to give you tips and ideas on entertaining with a galvanized tray, featuring tea and muffins.

If you’re new to this series, then be sure to go back and check out our first post in this series here. We also showed you how you could create the look of the cheese and wine tray by giving you all the products to pull it off. Today, you’re using the same simple method of a galvanized tray, yet this time we are featuring muffins and tea.

To start, you’ll still need your Metal Tray with Handles or this Galvanized Tray With Rope Handle. The galvanized tray always looks great and can also handles spills well. Next, you’ll need to make or buy muffins. Muffins are super cheap to make straight out of the box or homemade if you have time and ingredients. The kids and I made 1 package of Blueberry muffins and 1 package of Banana Nut muffins, and that made about 12 muffins. All I did was add milk and they were ready in about 20 minutes. Baking is not my thing, so the quickest route is better for me. Do what works for you! I also used these pretty PaperChef Baking Cups just to present the muffins nicely. Remember presentation is everything!

Tip: Have a variety of tea available so guests can choose what tea they prefer. Also having sugar or sugar cubes out would be nice too. This would allow someone to adjust their tea to their taste preference.

Tip: Search cabinets for vintage teacups, antique teapots or anything else that would enhance the look of the tray.

Tip: Fresh flowers always work! My little bouquet cost $4, so don’t even tell me flowers are too expensive. They don’t have to be, so buy them. Add them to a mason jar or another simple container. You’re space is looking good now!
