Meal Plan Week 13

meal plan - week 13

The meal plan for week #13 is here and it doesn’t disappoint. Last week, we took a last-minute hiatus to Destin, Florida. It was a much needed trip that we planned in less than 24 hours. Wild, I know but so worth every second. What did that do to the meal plan for week #12? It threw it out the window and that’s exactly what I needed. I needed time to not cook, to re-energize myself, and most importantly to spend quality time with my little family. It was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone feeling a little burnt out or in need of a re-fresh.

That’s why red beans and rice are on the menu again. That’s what we are having for dinner tonight though. I’m a fan of one pot meals like gumbo, jambalaya, and of course, red beans. One sheet pan, one pot…that’s my kind of meal. It also cuts down on the dish washing too.

This week I’m not trying any new recipes. It will be a pretty plain, boring, meal planned week. But guess what? I’ve got a plan. Do you have a meal plan?
