The Pink Drink

pink cocktail, kinky pink drink,

Spring starts March 20 and it cannot come soon enough. You already know how much I dislike winter. Just give me summer all the time! Believe it or not, we’ve had a real winter in Louisiana. We even had a little snow before it was technically winter and now the cold has set in. My wardrobe is not even setup to handle the weather. My point…I can’t wait until spring and I already know when it will be here. Ha! I need to wear my flip-flops again, feel the sun, and want to drink my favorite drinks outdoors.

Since we’ve been stuck indoors (not quite but almost) for what seems like years, we’ve been forced to try new things in the kitchen. Grapefuit Moscow Mules, white wine sangria, and even “Hurricane Punch” have all come out of this winter I can’t stand. I’m feeling so confident that when springs starts in March, I’ll be ready. I can’t imagine I’ll even have any new recipes to share with you.

When it comes to cocktails, 9 1/2 times out of 10 it’s already been done before. But no one has done it like you so make it anyway. That’s our motto.

In business, there is always room for competition.

I know you didn’t come here for business advice, so I’ll get on with on what I wanted to share. It’s that lovely pink drink I’m holding up above. We call it “The Pink Drink” and it does not disappoint. It features KINKY® Pink Liqueur and ginger beer. Yeah for ginger beer in anything!

To me, it tastes like a Moscow Mule, but since it doesn’t have regular vodka as an ingredient, we didn’t name it a pink mule. But you could split the liqueur up with vodka and get a pink Moscow Mule. But for this post, we’re calling it “The Pink Drink”.
